Getting to the Byway:

Reno, NV
* Take US-395 to the Hwy 431 exit. * Go southwest to Incline Village to the junction of Hwy 431 and Hwy 28. * Turn left and follow Hwy 28/Tahoe Blvd. along the east shore.

Sacramento, CA
* Take I-80 northeast to Truckee, CA. * Get on CA-267 and go southeast to Kings Beach, CA. * Take CA-28 to Nevada. * Follow NV-28 toward Incline Village where the byway begins.

Navigating the Byway:
* Start the byway at the north end of Lake Tahoe in Crystal Bay on NV 28. * Go south for 13.2 miles, where the byway merges with US 50. * Continue going south on US 50 for 12 miles until you reach the town of Stateline, NV where the byway ends.
