Crystal Lake Wilderness Study Area

In Idaho, BLM manages over 9,000 acres of public lands in the Crystal Lake Wilderness Study Area. This area is valued for its scenic, recreational and cultural values. The nearby Skitwish Monuments are unique rock structures associated with the religious ceremonies of the Coeur d' Alene Indians. Hiking, camping, sightseeing, hunting, fishing and berry picking are popular activities here. Crystal Lake is a destination point for hikers using Sheep Springs Campground and trailhead just outside of this WSA.
