The BLM Challis Bridge Recreation Site along the Upper Salmon River is day use only, no camping. The site is surrounded by a grove of cottonwoods offering shade from the summer sun and has restrooms and a boat ramp. Boaters seeking a casual day float/fishing trip will find easy access to the river. There is typically cell service at this site.
