Rockport State Park

Site #14

Utah State Park: Idyllic Rockport Reservoir is about three miles long and one-half mile wide. At an elevation of over 6,000 feet, it covers more than 500 acres. It's a blue jewel in Utah's high country, less than 45 minutes from Salt Lake City and only 25 minutes from Park City. Visitors will find first-rate, year-round recreation at this northern Utah destination. During summer, fish, boat, paddle and waterski on Rockport Reservoir. Rentals available at the marina. Tent or RV camp in one of five developed and primitive campgrounds. During winter, ice fish and access nearby snowmobile trails.

Many wildlife species call Rockport home. They include mule deer, chipmunks, jackrabbits, cottontails, yellowbelly marmots, badgers, raccoons, weasels, fox and Uinta ground squirrels. Elk, moose, coyote, bobcat and cougar live in the area but are seldom seen. Make a reservation on the Utah State Parks reservation site
