Overlooking Cape Cod Bay, there is no better place on Cape Cod to watch a sunset. While located only a few miles from Wellfleet town center, when sitting on the deck enjoying the company of friends and family, you will feel miles away from the stress of everyday life. The Bay View House is a three-bedroom, one-bathroom home that sleeps seven. This spacious, well-equipped home will make your stay at Cape Cod National Seashore memorable.

There are miles of walking and biking trails through pine forests, across sandy dunes, and alongside freshwater ponds. You can climb to the top of one of the many lighthouses and experience a piece of maritime history that helped our new nation grow and thrive. For the wildlife lover, there are opportunities to spot over 450 species of amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds, and mammals that make the seashore their home.

This home is a recently renovated three-bedroom, a two-bathroom cottage that sleeps six. The walk from the front door to Coast Guard Beach, which has been consistently rated as a top family beach by both National Geographic Magazine and Dr. Beach’s Top Beaches, is less than ten minutes. This spacious, well-equipped home will make your stay at Cape Cod National Seashore memorable.

The Beach View House is perfectly situated at Coast Guard Beach and just a couple of miles from the Salt Pond Visitor Center. At our visitor center, you can participate in several different types of outdoor programs that will satisfy a wide range of interests. You are just moments away from the Nauset Marsh Trail, and the bike trail. A visit to Cape Cod National Seashore almost always includes a day at the beach, relaxing as the sounds of the ocean surround you. Seashore Modern House Campground

A house made of windows, that’s the best way to describe the Seashore Modern House. Located off the beaten path, this two bedroom, one bathroom home sleeps four. The cottage, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was designed in the “Modern style” and completed in 1961. It sits atop a high bluff and faces northeast to maximize the sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean below. Today the house has been comfortably re-furnished with the era of its original construction in mind. This spacious, well equipped home will make your stay at Cape Cod National Seashore memorable. 

While this property is the park's only vacation home without convenient beach access, town beach permits are easily obtained by contacting the Town of Wellfleet's beach permit office, or by visiting one of the many beaches which are operated by the Cape Cod National Seashore where daily access permits are available.

- 5 gallon water jugs are provided in each unit for consumption. The tap water is safe for cooking, bathing, and cleaning but
should not be used as a drinking water source. 

- There is NO dishwasher in the unit. 

- Ticks and mosquitos are a natural part of the environment at the seashore. Please plan accordingly.

Positioned nicely near Coast Guard Beach and Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro, this home is a recently renovated two-bedroom, a one-bathroom unit (sleeps four) that is part of a three-unit triplex. Coast Guard Beach (consistently rated as a top family beach) is a quick five minute walk from the property which also offers direct access to several beautiful bike/walking trails! This well-equipped home will make your stay at Cape Cod National Seashore fun and memorable!

There are miles of walking and biking trails through pine forests, across sandy dunes, and alongside freshwater ponds. You can climb to the top of one of the many lighthouses and experience a piece of maritime history, unique and characteristic of the Cape Cod landscape. For the wildlife lover, there are opportunities to spot over 450 species of amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds, and mammals that make the seashore their home.

CAPE COD NATIONAL SEASHORE RANGER-GUIDED PROGRAMS Ticket Facility

Overview:

Cape Cod National Seashore is located in eastern Massachusetts. The park offers forty miles of pristine sandy beach, marshes, ponds and uplands that support diverse species. Lighthouses, cultural landscapes and wild cranberry bogs offer a glimpse of Cape Cod's past and continuing ways of life. Six swimming beaches, twelve walking trails and three bike trails beckon today's visitors. In addition to programs reserved through Recreation.gov, from spring through fall, the park offers programs, such as: historic house tours, nature walks, canoe trips, long hikes, lighthouse and lifesaving programs, lectures and performances.

Ten ranger-guided programs are available through this reservation system:

Yoga on the Beach: Eastham, Saturdays in July and August, 7:30-9:00 AM, moderately strenuous

Yoga at the Cove: Provincetown, Tuesdays in July and August, 8:30-09:45 AM, easy

Hike: Explore Your Park: Eastham and Wellfleet, Monday in July and August, 9:30 AM, 3 hours, 3-6 miles, strenuous.

Hike: Off the Beaten Path: Truro and Provincetown, Sundays in July and August, 8:00 AM, up to 3.5 hours, 4-6 miles, strenuous

There are dozens of other ranger-guided programs offered from spring through fall that are described at Ranger-guided activities.

Reservations may be made no more than one week in advance, beginning at 10 AM. Groups of more than 8 people may not register.

Programs may be cancelled due to extreme heat or humidity, or if there is thunder or lightning or other hazardous conditions.

Refunds will be granted if the ranger must cancel the program due to extreme heat or humidity, electrical storms, or other hazardous conditions.

Visit the park museum to learn about the many layers of human history here, watch our award-winning orientation film, Standing Bold, and take in the expansive view of Salt Pond, Nauset Marsh, and the Atlantic.
