The park's operations have moved to the Jean Lafitte NHP&P French Quarter Visitor Center located at 419 Decatur St., New Orleans. The visitor center is open 9:00 am - 4:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
The park also produces educational concerts at the New Orleans Jazz Museum at 400 Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans.

The park is devoted to sharing the origins of jazz and its development through today via performances, ranger talks, and other programs. New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park operations moved to the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park & Preserve French Quarter visitor center, 419 Decatur St., New Orleans, LA 70130. Open Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm.
