From Bishop go west on State Route 168 (Line Street) approximately 18 miles. After Aspendell, look for the overnight parking at the North Lake turnoff.

Sabrina Lake Area:
- The side trail to Donkey and Baboon Lake is more rugged and is not recommended for stock.
- No campfires.
- Food and refuse must be stored so that animals cannot get into the food or trash. Beyond Blue Lake, bear containers are the only practical way to store food due to the lack of tall trees.
- Check the area map for the correct trail name. Trips going toward Piute Pass, Lamarck Lakes
- John Muir Wilderness Regulations Apply
- Sequoia and Kings Canyon wilderness regulations apply if entering the National Park. (includes no night box permit pickup; no pets; Cross Country permit type for Darwin Canyon)
- Deadline: Reservation will be canceled unless the permit pick up instructions are completed before the deadline. Instructions are in the confirmation letter.
- Only the group leader or alternate leader may pick up the permit; the person picking up the permit must be going on the wilderness trip.
- BE SURE YOUR DATES AND TRAIL ARE CORRECT - The entire group must start on the trail on the entry date listed. Reservations cannot be changed or transferred

Long Description
Climbing the hillside on the south side of Sabrina Lake, the trail leads to a series of high alpine lakes in a basin surrounded by glacier flanked 13,000 ft. granite peaks. Many day hikers enjoy visiting Blue Lake (2.5 miles). If hikers continue on the trail it will take them to Dingleberry, Hungry Packer, and Midnight Lakes. The side trail to Donkey and Baboon Lake is more rugged and is not recommended for stock. Beyond Blue Lake, bear canisters are the only practical way to store food due to the lack of tall trees. Separate quotas apply for George Lake and North Lake trails. Please refer to the area map for trail names.

Lake Sonoma's Boat-In Sites are scattered around beautiful Lake Sonoma, only a 45-minute drive north of Santa Rosa and a two-hour drive from San Francisco.World famous vineyards and a land rich in history surround the lake, where visitors enjoy boating, fishing and exploring the area's extensive trail network.
Recreation
The lake provides great boating and swimming opportunities. Anglers fish for large and smallmouth bass, catfish and sunfish. A small native population of rainbow trout exists in the waters as well.Hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders enjoy exploring several miles of trails that meander along the shoreline.
Facilities
The lake boasts nearly 100 boat-in campsites. Some sites lie close to the lake's ski zones while others are in more secluded regions perfect for fishing or swimming.Boaters who wish to camp/sleep on their boats may anchor anywhere within the park, but boats must be equipped with anchor lights. If boaters wish to tie up to the shore, they must be at one of the designated campgrounds.

Liberty Glen Campground is located at the top of Rockpile Road overlooking Lake Sonoma. A short 45-minute drive north of Santa Rosa and a two-hour drive from San Francisco. World famous vineyards and a rich history surround the lake, where visitors enjoy boating, fishing and exploring the area's extensive trail network.Recreation
Lake Sonoma offers a wide variety of recreational activities such as, Archery Range, Air Rifle Range, Disc Golf, Outdoor Gym, Dog Park as well as other nearby activities. The lake provides great boating and swimming opportunities. Anglers fish for large and smallmouth bass, catfish and sunfish. A small native population of rainbow trout exists in the waters as well. Hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders enjoy exploring several miles of trails in the Liberty Glen area, including the Serpentine, Rancheria and Cove Trails.Facilities
This large campground contains single and double sites, as well as one cabin site and two accessible group sites. Flush toilets, drinking water and showers are provided. We also have a playground on-site and trails begin within the campground.Natural Features

Recreation
The Woodland Ridge Nature Trail begins at the park and winds up the ridge, rewarding hikers with great views of the Dry Creek Valley and Lake Sonoma.The recreation area offers two sand volleyball courts and a large play area for football, baseball or other field sports. A small playground with a tire swing, slides and climbing structures is also on-site.

Warm Springs Recreation Area offers six group day-use picnic sites; there is no overnight camping available. Each site contains a covered shelter with seating for approximately 75 people.Each site is also equipped with picnic tables and a large grill. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. Individual picnic sites are available on a first come, first served basis.
